Origami Pigeons for China Design Now

Origami Pigeons

This was a huge project and I want thank my family and friends for all their support and help.
My arms and hands are still killing me as I made 3500 out of the 5000 and never realised how much it would affect me. I know I won't do it again but it was a fun project and glad I did it.

Here are the 4 designs of the origami pigeons used to promote China Design Now at the V&A sponsored by HSBC.
I worked with RMG Connect and 5000 of them were made and placed on Leicester Square in London on 26th March.
The diagrams can be found at www.origami-club.com/en/traditional/bird/index.htm
You can see a news clip by ITV on their website www.itvlocal.com/london/news/?void=169006

Excellent and original way to do publicity. I expect you can fold pigeons in your sleep now.
